Modern TREATMENTS + Trusted Techniques

We provide the full spectrum chiropractic care to get our patients back to living their lives. Our patients come from all walks of life: secretaries, skiers, gardeners, dancers, newly expectant mothers and newborns, to name just a few. Common ailments range from sore wrists from repetitious computer work, achy knees from bending, stiff backs from heavy or light lifting, sore joints from playing too hard, and migraines from stress.

Chiropractic Adjustment

We provide the typical chiropractic manual adjusting techniques. If you're familiar we can throw names like Palmer Package, Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson and Activator at you.  If you've never been to one of us before, never fear, we'll explain everything really well before we even touch you. If you don't like the "cracking" associated with chiropractic adjustments we offer less aggressive approaches. If you like to hear and feel the "cracking", well, we can do that too.

Muscle Activation Techniques

MAT-Basic Logo.jpg

Muscle Activation Techniques® assesses and corrects muscular imbalances, joint instabilty and limitations in range of motion. It is a specific and unique process for evaluating an individual's ability to produce efficient muscle contraction. Often times “tight” muscles are the result of “weak” or “inhibited” muscles. We know this as a compensation pattern and when the weak muscles are “activated” or “turned on” the tight muscles are then able to relax. By activating weak or inhibited muscles, MAT can also reduce pain and inflammation as well as improve strength, range of motion and overall mobility.

Active Release Techniques (ART)

This is what sets us apart! You won't get any snap, crackle in and out 3-5 minute treatment here. We start with addressing the soft-tissues first (you know the things that make the joints move like muscle, tendon, ligament and fascia). ART is designed to mobilize soft tissues by breaking up long standing scar tissue and adhesions to allow them to function like normal again. When your muscles move better, guess what? So do your joints. This allows adjustments to go more smoothly and last longer.  This technique has become exceedingly popular with professional and amateur athletes across the globe. It also works on pretty much everyone else!

Graston Technique

Similar to ART, Graston is designed to loosen muscles by breaking up the stuff that tightens muscles up. Instead of using hands, Graston Technique employs the use of stainless steel tools that are beveled to 2 millimeters, which helps to grab ahold of the muscles, ligaments, fascia and tendons. It's not nearly as scary as it sounds and it's extremely effective.
